Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript
- Design and implement backend services, REST APIs, and reusable frontend components
- Develop and integrate LLM-based features, AI agents, and agentic workflows
- Integrate relational databases, external services, and APIs
- Develop and maintain cloud-native services and microservices
- Implement automated tests, conduct code reviews, and improve application performance and reliability
- Contribute to software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders
Must have
- Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience, including substantial fullstack development experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production systems
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
- At least 4 years of experience with REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL
- Practical experience with LLM-based applications, AI agents, tool/function calling, or agentic workflows; production experience is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, Clean Code, automated testing, and Git
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices
- Ability to independently design, implement, and take responsibility for the quality of technical solutions
- Independent, structured working style and strong collaboration skills in distributed teams
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
- German language skills – at least level B2
Nice to have
- Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and multi-agent systems
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Code, or similar AI development tools
- Experience with LLM APIs, Anthropic SDK, Azure OpenAI, or MCP
- Strong knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Kafka, Terraform, or comparable DevOps technologies
- Knowledge of Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA, Hibernate, OAuth2/OIDC, and OpenAPI/Swagger
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Maven or Gradle
- Experience with GraphQL, Testcontainers, or Playwright
- Experience with enterprise or business-critical software
